Championing better leadership in government and local infrastructure spending while highlighting poor planning and financial mismanagement to improve housing affordability in Auckland.

Holding local authorities accountable for meeting their statutory obligations regarding infrastructure investment.

Ensuring greater transparency, accountability, and sound decision-making in development contributions and infrastructure spending.

Have your say and lodge a complaint

We invite developers to submit cases of overcharging or denial of infrastructure services by councils or suppliers such as Watercare, Vector, and Veolia to our Complaints Register. These are compiled into case studies to present to regulatory bodies, such as the Commerce Commission, or to support potential litigation against local authorities.

Regardless of legal action, SANZ will bring these issues to the attention of central government as part of our advocacy efforts. By submitting a complaint, you contribute to improving the accountability and performance of public organisations for the benefit of the wider community.
